The workhorse block

This is the workhorse. Most pages are mostly this block: a heading, then a body of rich text that accepts links, emphasis, lists and quotes.

  • The narrow width keeps a comfortable reading measure.
  • Lists get accent-coloured bullets.
  • Every line here is a field in the editor.

Notice how the line length stays easy on the eye — about 70 characters — whatever the screen.

SplitFeature Framed, image right Copy and a picture, side by side, with an optional checklist and button. Block details Also on clinic, law, coffee and wedding sites

Framed, image right

Copy and a picture, in step

Stack several of these and flip the side, and a long page gets a rhythm instead of a wall of cards.

  • An optional small label above the heading
  • A checklist that builds itself from a list field
  • One link, if you want one

Bleed

Let the photo breathe

Bleed lets a strong image take more room. On a phone it drops back to a tidy rounded picture.

  • Great for the one image that matters
  • Works on either side

A website should feel like a good shop window: honest about what's inside, and easy to walk into.

How the studio started

  1. 2019

    A kitchen table

Two friends, one laptop and a stack of local business cards. The first site went live in a week.

  2. 2021

    The first hire

Word spread, the queue grew, and the studio found its first teammate — and its first office with a door.

  3. 2023

    Sites that edit themselves

Clients asked to change their own words. The team built the editing side so they could.

  4. Today

    Still small on purpose

Every site is built by people who answer the phone. This text is a sample.

Steps Timeline A process, down the page. Block details

A process, down the page

Longer sequences — up to eight steps — suit the timeline.

  1. Discover

Work out what the site needs to say and who it is for.

  2. Design

Choose a theme and sketch the page as a list of blocks.

  3. Build

Compose pages from blocks; add one if something is missing.

  4. Launch

Provision, deploy, and hand the keys to the client.
